Leave Politics Where it Belongs...

 

This might suck for some of you because I have the writing bug today and I have somethings I need to get off my chest. Just where to start?!!

I will talk first about something that is probably my biggest pet peeve currently about sports. I am not the average chick who doesn't watch sports. I literally watch most sports... Thanks to the guys I grew up with. My main sports are hockey and football (yes, CFL and NFL (NFL preferred obviously) and lately both leagues have been soooooo beyond fk'd.

Yes I am going there...

I am so sick of hearing about Taylor Swift and her current arm candy, Travis Kelce. I turn my TV on to watch FOOTBALL, not some ditzy blonde, cheering for her current flava. Sure, be happy... be "in love" but the game and field isn't the place for it. Honestly, nobody gives a shit. JUST PUT ON THE GAME!!!

Sorry, I am still on about the kneeling on the field too. Yes, I understand the WHY, but again, the grid isn't the place for it. I am a HUGE stickler for respecting the national anthem and flag, to the point that, in my home, you remove your hats, stand up and shut the hell up during the national anthems of BOTH teams (unless you're singing along). That's just the way it is... I can appreciate that any celebrity would want to express the "causes" that are close to their hearts; but there is a place and time for it... and the field/rink isn't it!!! JMHO

Then there's Milan Lucic... NOW THERE'S A PRIZE!!!

So recently Lucic was involved in a domestic violence incident and has been given an indefinite leave of absence from the Boston Bruins. I have a serious problem with DV and if he is guilty, there should be absolutely no way courts allow him to use his finances to worm his way out of harming a woman. To me, he is a prick and deserves to get the book slapped at him.

Now that we're on the topic of Hockey...

Let's get to the currently top story happening in the NHL; the mystery behind Connor Bedard and Corey Perry; teammates on the Chicago Blackhawks. An incident occurred a few days back, which the NHL is trying to keep very tight lipped (HMMMMMM!!!). So without revealing what is the truth, rumours are running rampant.

People are "saying" that it has something to do with Perry and Bedard's mother, Melanie Bedard; but NHL is vehemently deny this. Are they protesting too much though???

Anyways, I am not here to fuel the rumours, but I am going to give my 2 cents.

If this is the reasoning that Perry has been "let go", than I feel this is absolute HORSESHIT!!! What he does, and who he is doing it with (in private) is NONE of our business; and sorry about your luck Connor, but that applies to you too. What your mom, and who your mom is doing, is not your decision. Does he ask his mommy permission to be with someone??? Like grow and set and grow up!

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
