What a Week...

 

First off, Good Morning my Lovies. I hope you're all well today. Before I even dive into what has been happening here, I wanna say, for all you "sun lovers", hope y'all enjoy this weather. I can only say one thing on that.... where is the snow??? Geez!

All right, you know the routine... grab your fave drink, take a seat and buckle up... it's been an interesting one for sure...

Now, as a rule, I do NOT mention names as those are irrelevant to what I need to tell you; although it's taking serious restraint to remain mum on that subject.

To make an excessively/repetitive story short, someone thought they could bully me and intimidate me with their size and I fought back. I had vowed to myself that I was never going to allow a man ever lay hands on me out of anger ever again... so when it happened, I clocked this person back. It may have given me my dignity back, and able to keep my self respect, it cost me dearly. Unfortunately, I believe there is no way to recover nor salvage what has been shattered.

This week, I have also been dealing with various renovations and repairs in my place. I gotta say, I am quite impressed with the work and how proficient they are being. I cannot wait until everything is done and I can show pics of it... So, at least that was a bit of happiness this week.

Then another major thing that happened this week was karma. I definitely am not going to give details on here, because I know there are a couple people who read my blog and report back to others about how my life is going... I only told one of my brothers about it, and he laughed hysterically. 

Let's just lay it out there....

The old "Cris" is back and I am not taking shyt from anyone. You really want to play games? I am in the FAFO phase... so BRING IT!!!

Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
