Falling in Love is SOOOOOOO Taboo for Me

 

Hmmmm, my third entry for the day and it's still early in the day. Let's see what kind of trouble I can get into  expressing myself and my opinions... LOL Who am I kidding??? You can't give me shit for anything as this is MY blog... you want your voice heard than write your own blog :P

This one is gonna be a short one because I already know people are looking at the title and saying, "Huh???" Just take a chill pill and read what I have to say and maybe, just maybe, it will make sense to you.

I have watched people go through life, falling in love with one person after another... and that is their business, (something I've been guilty of too), but I find love is actually a sacred thing and should be dispersed sparingly. 

I want y'all to look at the very phrase itself... "falling in love"...  Do you know what I am getting at? No??? Well, when you use the word "falling", there is obviously an implication that you need to "get back up" eventually, no? This is what I am getting at...

Everyone is in such a rush to be in love, that they literally FALL. But what are you falling in love with??? The person's looks, their wealth, their voice... what are you loving? Please tell me, because I have totally come out of that phase and can't even justify why I was like that in my younger years. Maybe it comes with age, learning your flaws and changing the narrative and your patterns and mannerisms. Trust when I say, I am not preaching at you because this would be a "pot meet kettle" kinda scenario.

I can't say  that I learned this in my ripe old age of 48 LOL, even though at one point we thought this age was wayyyyyyy over the hill. I still have lots of living to do, and plenty of things to learn and experience. Don't try telling me I am old because I bet I can still whip your ass... just saying.

I want to end this blurb with a lil bit of advice. If you meet someone you find that is worthy of your time (and make sure they ARE worthy of your time)... then take the time to know them, flaws and all. Learn what inspires them, what or who influenced the person who stands in front of you. Take your time with it all... don't jump  with both feet, or head first... tip your toes in. Just remember that  the body will fade, money eventually runs out... but you know what will always be??? The SOUL!!!  Try loving someone for who they are... for what you see in their eyes. The eyes never lie... TRUST THAT!!!

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
