Monday Confusions
Page 51 of 366. Good Morning Y'all. I hope that the day treats you well... well, at least as good as a Monday can. I got a story for you about how my day is going thusfar, and it is not even noon yet...
I woke up this morning, called pharmacy to get some of my medications delivered... Fine, One thing already accomplished.
I did my taxes, well I filled out all the paperwork about a week and a half ago, but the government wasn't accepting netfile until yesterday. SO now I feel REALLY accomplished...
Then, I decided to check out this thing we have in Ontario, Canada... although I am not sure if other provinces have it or not. It's called "My Chart", which gives patients access to all their medical stuff, including any tests that have been performed and what the doctor had said about the results... FASCINATING, NO??? Well, it isn't really for me LOL
This is where the confusion sets in...
I have been getting messages that I had an appointment on February 9th, of this year; but had zero clue what it was for and why. I always write down my appointments so I know exactly what is going on and jot down notes and questions I need to bring up with said doctor. Anyways, I went to check this morning what the appointment was about, and it's for a prenatal and gyno clinic.
WTF??? Do doctors really not read files at all anymore? (It's a rhetorical question, people!!!) Being pregnant is absolutely impossible for me, as I had a hysterectomy 24 years ago!!! So I kinda want to know who the rocket scientist was who booked the appointment, and their reasoning behind it.
Next confusing part is that I received a letter from a rheumatologist last week, stating that I have an appointment with them June 25, 2024... Sucks that it's taking this long to get in, but grateful I got in as fast as I could. The strange thing is, when I looked up on My Chart, it has me booked with another rheumatologist on November 30, 2024... AWESOME!!! But again, explain to me how they are double booking me with two completely different specialists? Ugh, my head hurts just thinking about it all...
I am going to crawl back into bed, because this is the Mondayest Monday I have ever had... I KNOW I got to be up later this afternoon because I have an appointment with my cardiologist. This is another thing I am a bit confuzzled about because I DO have some trouble with my heart at times, including having pericarditis quite often. I am kinda dreading this appointment because, apparently my overdose from early this year has affected my heart; and I have zero clue to what extent.
Anywho, This is my day so far. I hope you're all faring it better than me. Stay Safe. Stay Warm. Be Well. Be Blessed.... but most of all BE LOVED!!!
