Good Day my Lovies. I know I seem to have a few more blank pages in this year's book, so let's hope I can write a little extra today and catch up in that way. Where to even begin? This entry is only going to be about good vibes... so it may be a short one LOL.

Yesterday, is what I like to call the "Holiest Day of the Year", not because of any religious or spiritual stuff; simply because it was Superbowl Sunday. I know, I know... my favourite team lost, and I say it was a great game because that last quarter and overtime??? Holy crap, it was an edge of the seat kinda game!!!

I know, a lot of us women are fans of sports too, but I tend to be a sports freak... I watch football (NFL & CFL), lacrosse, hockey (various leagues), rugby, soccer (or footy), boxing, MMA and occasionally baseball... I am sure there are more to add to the list, but those are the main sports I enjoy watching.

As a kid, I did gymnastics, played hockey (ice & road), football, soccer, swimming, and without leaving you hanging... YES, I was a cheerleader LOL.I will openly admit that I detest golf... I call it the "dead man's sport" because it is probably the most boring sport to watch on TV and even moreso, to play. One of my first jobs was being a caddy, so maybe that is why I have such a disdain for the "sport".

Well, it seems this blurb is going to be mostly about sports, so I may as well continue with this theme. I could skeet shoot. I know how to use a crossbow; hunting is a good part of my life (even though I won't eat game meat... I can kill it, skin it, prep it and even cook it; but I am not eating it unless necessary).  The most obvious thing for me, that I still LOVE to this day is FISHING!!! I don't care what time of year it is, nor how cold it is... I love going fishing. I was fortunate enough to do deep sea fishing, along with most forms of fishing. I miss doing the salmon runs, and the battles with sturgeons or pike when we would go camping. There is just something so satisfying with it, especially when you are fishing for your own survival.

Wow that is bringing back fond memories of camping and fishing in the interior of Killarney, and literally having to protect your food as well as yourself because there are bears everywhere. I went back to Killarney in recent years and it brought back nothing but happy memories for me. I feel it is the one place in the world where time simply stands still, or just doesn't exist... it's such a serene feeling, and I hope everyone has a place like that in their lives.

I hope everyone has a blessed day. Stay safe. Stay warm. Be well. Be loved. Much love and respect, my Lovies.
