You Kidding Me, Right?!!

Page 57 of 366. Good Morning Lovies. I am going to give a TRIGGER WARNING for this blog entry because it will definitely trigger some people; I know the subject is triggering me sooooo bad, that I don't have a choice BUT to write about this...

To gain context, I was watching a reel from @kev_eudy... and HOLY SHIT!!! Is the world still this fucked up? 

He played a video about a minister/pastor (whatever his title was doesn't matter) who was preaching to his congregation and he flat out said that if she dressed like that and she got raped; if he were onthe jury... the perp would go free!!! EXCUSE ME??? Did I just hear that correctly? I mean, I am just saying "WOW" right now... but that isn't the response this needs.

First off, SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!!

Now to get down to the real issue... How is this even acceptable in this day and age. I mean, I know that society is so screwed that they don't even know if they are human, at this point... but this triggered me something fierce. Not just as a SA warrior but also as a mother, grandmother and woman.. I also feel this is a massive insult to the male population too...

I really hope you all can feel the rage that is filling this page because WTF??? Is this dude for real??? So he is basically saying that what a woman does, says, dresses or acts gives men the right to rape her? 

Is he saying that men cannot control themselves when it comes to what a woman is wearing??? When did we fall back into the dark ages, and when did men become so weak that they cannot have self control???

I am absolutely mortified that this is even a topic for this day and age. 

Let me tell you something, and I cannot say this loud enough... what I wear, what I say and what I do, does NOT give you a right to touch me in ANY way... and I am pretty sure the word "NO" still means NO!!! If what I wear triggers you into SA or rape, than you are a weak ass man (not even a man... a boy or monster seems to be a better fit). If you cannot control you own being than you are better off being shot and pissed on. PERIOD!!!

Someone please remove this preacher from the pulpit and get someone up there explaining that women have every right to be themselves... no matter what covers their body.

I have been roofied and sexually assaulted, something that plays in my mind 24/7. I didn't have the ability to say "no", but I still fought as best I could and DID manage to stop it from being a full on rape, but that gave him a way out... since I was blitzed out of mind, it would be my word versus his. It disgusts me that this predator continues to live and has done this to at least 7 or 8 other women that I know. His friends and associates surely know what he is doing and has done... to them, I can confidently say that they are just as guilty as him by keeping it quiet... you're all guilty by association.

This world is an ugly place and it is truly sad that most people turn a blind eye to what is going on... and not even necessarily behind closed doors. When are people going to wake up? When are people going to be held accountable for their actions, without "victims" "survivors" "Warriors" having to repeatedly relive that moment??? 

You want to know why so many of us don't go to law enforcement and report these crimes??? Because most of the time it is a he said, she said situation... If we attempt to pursue it, we are forced to relive that moment over and over again... To me, that just makes us victims all over again and at the end of the day, he usually wins anyways.

I am going to try to post the link to this video that brought on this convo. I hope someone knows who is disgusting human is for telling men it is okay to do this to any woman because of how she is dressed... FUCK OFF!!! 

I hope everyone has a blessed Monday... sorry to start this day off with such a brutal topic, but truthfully, when is the right time to bring up this topic???

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!!   Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
