Is It Just Me???

So, this kinda just dawned on me... I was talking to one of my friends today, that I consider my brother... We got to talking about moving to new cities or out in the country and just starting a new life, away from the BS and drama we deal with (in general).

I joked that I have been there, done that and started naming off all the places I lived and HMMMMMM, apparently I wander a lot. 

I was born North of Toronto, in a hoity toity kinda of town. I moved to Toronto when I was 14. At 16, I was living in Mission, British Columbia... came back to Ontario before I ventured out to Europe for about 6 months. I came back to Toronto and remained there until I was 21, where I then moved west of Toronto to this funky city named Brampton (IYKYK). I went from there back to Weston (a suburb of Toronto), back to Willowdale (Another suburb of Toronto). 

When first hubby and I split, I moved to Hamilton and he moved to Grants Pass, Oregon...

Hamilton was my home for a few years, until we decided to up and move to Leduc and Devon, Alberta. Then, came back from Alberta and was living in Mississauga temporarily, until we moved into our own home in Oshawa, Ontario. Unfortunately, Wayne passed away about a year after we purchased the home and I could NOT stay in the house where he died in.... so I moved back to Hamilton. This is probably the first time I have stayed stationary as long as I have. 

Last summer, I got the travel bug again (it's the gypsy blood that's coursing through my veins, I swear)... 

I took off to "Down East", which us Canadians call... Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador. I remained there until winter was approaching and returned to the home I have here in Hamilton.

Now there's a reason I am writing all this...

Apparently, that is A LOT of traveling, although I never really thought about it. I mean, there are places I didn't add, like Florida, South Carolina, West Virginia, Chicago... just a few more blips on my map of life. I don't know. I never thought I was such a "get up and go" kinda person until this convo. Maybe I was simply meant to just travel the globe... wander without a destination... kind of the way I love my roadtrips... no destination, come to a stop sign, pick a way and just GO!!!

Is it just me, or are more people like this??? I tend to believe it is also a Sagittarius thing... but who knows. Have a good one Lovies.

    I'm the same way, born in Vancouver BC, raised in HamiltonON Moved to South Hampton ON, St. Catherine's ON, Brampton ON, Spruce Grove AB, back to Hamilton ON a few times in between those moves. Now I am in St. John's NL. Yes I am Sagittarius as well.

It's a Hide Under the Covers Kinda Day

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. I know, I don't share a lot of my medical nor really personal stuff on here, but just so you're aware, this has been happening daily since end of May/beginning of June last year. I am what they call an "anemic blood clotter" which I didn't think was possible, but apparently it runs on the paternal side of my family. Anyways, that was the main focus of my visit after that.   Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
