It's Not Even Noon!!!
Page 64 of 366. Good Morning Lovies. I have been up for like 6 hours already, and I literally feel braindead... I always have rough nights when I know I have medical appointments the following morning. I also, always book for the first appointment of the day, so I can avoid most patients and people... also, if my appointment is first, I am not stuck waiting around if the doctor is stuck in an appointment longer than normal.
Yes, I can say that the anxiety wasn't necessarily warranted for this appt because I absolutely LOVE my family doctor and would recommend him to everyone I know. He takes the time to listen. He doesn't force medications, nor a pill pusher... he actually prefers that I use cannabis over medications when possible!!!
To make a long story short, I am back on the seizure medication I was on years ago. As you know, I had a fairly big seizure a few weeks ago... I mean one that felt like it lasted for hours. It's not the last one I have had, but it was one of the bigger ones, for sure. I am grateful he put on meds that I have been on before, so we know how I will react to them.
We had a chance to discuss my arm being screwed, the pain shooting from my fingers all the way up my arm, into my neck, shoulder and back. I have to book for an ultrasound because he thinks that it may be "tennis elbow" on top of the carpal tunnel I am already coping with. So we shall see how fast I can get in, to get that done. The final thing is pretty minor... I have an ear infection. Of course I have the blood clot behind my ear drum too; but that hasn't moved in years so I am not fretting over that. The ear is pretty sore, and anyone who has experienced an ear infection; you know how off balance you can be... so far, I have been lucky that I haven't been getting too familiar with the walls this week (Sorry, bad joke!!!)
I have to say, I am exhausted because I got up so early; but other than that, life is pretty good for a Monday. May you all stay safe. Stay warm. Be well. Be blessed.
With so much love and respect,
~Phoenix
