This is Probably the Most IGNORANT news article I have Read

 

Page 89 of 366. Good Morning everyone. Sorry, I am going to be extremely blunt in this blurb because frankly, what I just read is making my blood boil!!!

This morning, when I booted up my laptop, this news article popped up and my mouth literally dropped open, before a LONG, and I mean LONG stream of cussing followed. I am going to post the link here to the story, but I am going to discuss it too.

Am I the only one who sees a problem with this??? To make it very simple, parents of disabled children have been asked by the photography firm if they'd like for their child(ren)'s photos to be removed from class photos... Then to go on, a elementary school in Scotland, did just that!!!

I am not using names, as it is in the article, and I obviously didn't ask for their permission before I went on this rant...

One mother, was furious when she saw that her daughter, with special needs was excluded in the photo, saying, "You cannot erase them because they’re inconvenient. It’s just not OK". She expressed her gratitude that her daughter is unaware of thie situation because as we all can imagine, how much this would destroy her emotionally and mentally. The very place where she is supposed to be safe is discriminating against her disabilities; imagine how harmful that is to her psyche and self-esteem?!!

In another case, there were two children removed from the class photo; one of the youngsters was a girl who was in a wheelchair. She has celebral palsy. Her mother stating that this is clear discrimination and should not happen in any school, anywhere. It devastated her daughter who has always been in a very "inclusive" environment. Her twin sister was in the photo, which didn't make things any better.

I give this mom props as she immediately confronted the situation with the school, who promised they would never use this photography company again. The company had not problem, stating that they did this. It is believed, after the school stated it; they were in no way involved with this decision and it all falls on the company named TEMPEST PHOTOGRAPHY.

To conclude, Tempest Photography refused to comment on the matter, other than saying it was investigating the matter...

I gotta tell you, none of this shyt would fly with me. The photographer(s) should be immediately fired and should also be charged with discrimination. These are CHILDREN, no matter if they are completely healthy or suffer from ailments that they have zero choice in having. 

I am appalled at this, and I can say with a very clear conscience, had that been my child... I never would allow it to happen and I wouldn't stop until those who did this were punished to the fullest extent of the law. Disgusting bastards!!!

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
