Page 99 of 366. I am not going to do all the sweet sentiments that I usualy post at the beginning today because this is going to be the shortest blurb I am ever going to write; but probably the most impactful one...

I know, a lot of us grew up in a world where we were taught to hate one thing or another; without really much of an explanation. We were taught that certain races were inferior, while others were just a waste of skin, even ones that felt they were superior to everyone. 

People say that children don't know what hate is... Yes, this is true if there is no familial or outside influence to change that innocence. Children only follow what they know, until they are taught better; or as I saw last night, some adults never got the memo.

I want to make something very clear today...

Most of you know some part of my life. I share only what I want you to know, as does every human... I am still going to keep my privacy as much as I can, but this is a topic that greatly effects me and my life; so it IS going to be talked about... and if you don't like it, you can stuff it!!!

You know, I used to have confederate flags hanging in my house; but to me, they were never racist, they represented "Rebellion" to me; although those who lived under my roof may have had their own reasons for them flying. 

I'd like to say that ignorance is bliss; but it turns out ignorance is just walking through life with your eyes closed, or covered by rose-coloured glasses.

I am not going to mention the incident that went down; because this person knows exactly what I am talking about... he should have known better; not just by what he said, but him thinking I wouldn't say something. HAVE YOU MET ME???

Let's just say that someone decided to use a term that is considered racist by some; and I couldn't just keep quiet... being silent makes me just as guilty as the person who spewed the hatred. I knew the words would enrage someone I very much love and, as you all know, I protect and stand up (or by) my loved ones. I become instinctually protective and I let the wolf out.

The situation only got worse because he then decided to get even more ignorant with my beloved... and I will NOT tolerate it. In the meantime, I have blocked this person from my social media because that kinda hatred is not allowed in my circles... Yes, I joke that I am the whitest white girl you will meet, that is because of my genetics ~ English~Irish~Scottish; but make no mistake, my family has interracial relationships and I have relatives of various races. ( I hate that term because we are technically all of ONE race ~ humanrace!!!)

I have my beloved, and cousins that are African American. I have relatives that are  Haitian, Chinese, Filipino, Brazilian, etc. I have a grandbaby who is interracial herself... Does that mean I need to hate her, or dismiss her because of her heritage??? Are you fkn crazy??? And before I end this blurb, just know that I don't see colour (I know I was told we DO see colour), ... I prefer to say, I don't see colour, I only see souls.
That is MY truth!!!

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
