It's The Weekend... and I'm Feeling Enlightened!!!

 

Page 111 of 366. Hi Lovies. The weekend is upon us. What are you beautiful souls up to today? I can actually say, I am in a fairly good mood today, even though I have had a lack of sleep... but for a good reason. It looks like the sun is beginning to shine in more aspects in my life; which brings me great joy and a sense of peace I haven't felt in a very long time... if ever!!!

The end of the year and the beginning of this one, was one of the roughest times I have ever endured BUT it was also a time of enlightening for me. I had people by my side that literally arrived in my life when I was going through a transformation... I honestly feel like I have been stuck in a cocoon for a very long time, and over this past year, I have finally emerged from it... I am not fully flying yet, but DAMN what a beautiful struggle has created!!!

Now, don't think I am going to blurt all my happiness into a blog, because as many wise people have told me... not everyone will be happy for me; and I know some will downright try to destroy it... People who are jealous, insecure... or those who have realized what they lost and there is no going back. The past is behind you for a reason, and no one is walking backwards... so it is onwards and upwards people.

I just want to end this blog with these words...

Their loss is my gain. And there is NO way in hell I am going to allow anyone to make anyone feel that they are not worth having everything they have. I will NEVER allow others to suggest that someone is not enough... people are perfect, just the way they are. If we all were the same people, drones, this life would be so mundane. 

I am glad for the shitty times, although I hate the pain and losses people felt through them; but had they not happened, we wouldn't be where we are today... and inspite of the scars that remain; we are all perfectly imperfect. Beautiful disasters. What may be flaws to you, are what is endearing to me... I wouldn't want it any other way.

Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
