Not Feeling it Today!!!


Page 94 of 366.  Good Morning Lovies. I hope all is well with the you today. Me??? I am just not feeling it today. I had a fairly troublesome sleep last night and getting out of bed was 100% a chore; to even move an inch. It has been dark and dreary outside for the past couple of days, which normally I love; but I just am not enjoying it. 

(I know I am weird, no point in stating the obvious). 

It feels like I am in a fibro flare up, and trust me when I tell you; THEY SUCK DONKEY BALLS!!! I am nauseous because I took my Ozempic yesterday and that always screws me for a couple days. You'd think I would be used to the side effects by now. 

And like most people I have heard from... I have a headache that is unshakeable; but I refuse to call neurology. I really don't think I could handle a spinal tap right now... Yah, I get those for a condition I have.

I am supposed to go grocery shopping this evening, but it is looking like I either wait for a better day, or I try using Instacart that so many people keep recommending. I don't know. I guess I am weird in the way that I like to pick my own foods, my own produce... I just find it icky if some total random stranger is choosing the quality of food I am going to have in my house.

I am waiting on an Amazon package of something I have wanted for a while, and took the opportunity to get it last night. For those of you who don't know, I collect flags. Yes, it is not a very common thing to collect but I love them; so I ordered one that is kind of hard to get, I will post pictures when it arrives. Other than that, the mission for today is to get out at least one crime story into the blog. I have one in mind, and while the details are still fairly fresh I need to go work on it.

It's a Hide Under the Covers Kinda Day

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. I know, I don't share a lot of my medical nor really personal stuff on here, but just so you're aware, this has been happening daily since end of May/beginning of June last year. I am what they call an "anemic blood clotter" which I didn't think was possible, but apparently it runs on the paternal side of my family. Anyways, that was the main focus of my visit after that.   Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
