Always a Story!!!
Page 143 of 366. Good Evening Lovies. I hope you all had a great day. I really hope you got out to enjoy this (stupidly) hot weather.
As for me, I continue to lay in my hospital bed, looking at all the beige curtains, pale walls... and of course, can't forget the crucifix on the wall directly across from my bed. I oddly have to wonder how a government funded hospital still allows this. I mean, it doesn't bother me, I can just close my curtain (kinda like a scroll n roll on fb type of thing)...
I just find it hypocritical that they hang a cross with Jesus on it, yet right next to that, they hang a gay pride flag??? Make it make sense???
Sorry, I am in quite the bitch tonight. I am over being in the hospital, even though I know this is the best place for me to be right now. I guess, in a way, I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired... everyday there seems to be something new to add to the mile long list of ailments. I had hoped today was just going to be a healing day but, as if I could ever be that lucky!!!
To begin, was woken up at 5'ish this morning to get blood drawn. I never understood that... sick people need sleep to heal; how are we healing if we can't get restful sleep and woken constantly???
By 8:30, I had an ECG done on my heart because my low potassium is causing issues. Gee, what a shock!!! At 11 or so, I was brought down for an ultrasound on my liver, spleen and upper abdomen; resulting in us finding out I have all kinds of blood clots in my liver. So inspite of me being anemic, we immediately started me on blood thinners. It's guinea pig time!!! Tomorrow we scan my legs to see if the pinching and pain in them is also blood clots.
It's looking like I got a few battles ahead of me... some of which I am NOT prepared for. Well that's my update for today.stay safe. Stay cool. Be well. Be blessed. Much love
~Phoenix
