The Mondayest Monday Thusfar of 2024

 

Page 171 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. It looks like the first massive heatwave from summer of 2024 is upon us; and I ain't liking it. I am not one who likes the heat, well at least, not this muggy, humid heat... If I have to endure heat, let it be a dry heat, or on land that is at the waterfront, preferably ocean or sea-side.

I am happy for all those who get to enjoy the activities they love, when the weather is like this; since the time is so limited here, but why can't we just have average temperatures like high teens to low twenties (I myself am quite content at 17 or 18).... jumping the way we are right now from 18 to 45 C with humidex is deadly for many people. 

It also brings on all kinds of crazy weather patterns. I don't complain about the thunderstorms because well, you all know how I feel about them... Its the insane winds and unpredictable ones that come in, bearing hail stones and extremely damaging tornadoes... Yah, those can just stay the hell away from me and mine... Just sayin. I just glanced out my window and see that the leaves are pointing down and there is quite a breeze picking up, so maybe we will be fortunate enough to have rain today; if only that meant that it would cool down, not make it worse, eh?

I will give you a brief update on health, since it is easier to write to the masses here, than individuals, or write on my facebook. I know I need to go back to the hospital, things are not really improving; actually they are getting worse. I was told I need to go back because it looks like the blood thinners that I am on are now causing internal bleeding. Yayyyy me, right?!! I have chosen to hold off on going for a couple reasons... 

1. I feel if it was that bad, it would have already taken me. 2. I refuse to go to the hospital when the weather is like this.... it will be insanely packed with emergencies due to the weather and irritable people who are sick because of the weather. 3. I have been dealt with a lot of crazy health issues through the decades, and when I feel (within) that I need to go... I WILL go!!! I just don't think I am quite there yet.

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
