80 Days Left...
Am I the only one who has been mentally, emotionally and physically drained the past little while??? Or is it just me???
There are 80 days left to this year, and we are on the last long weekend, until (GULP), Yuletide season... How does this happen? Where does the time go???
I do have to mention, to those who do not know, today is INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMY DAY; which is a little ironic considering all the celestial events we are experiencing right now. (We DO celebrate this day twice a year, in the fall and the spring)...
It is a day I use to reflect and sit in awe of all the incredible things the universe shows us... truly humbling me. It started in 1973, when telescopes were set up for the general population to catch a true glimpse of the "heavens". If you have never taken the time to check the stars out, or figure out the constellations; I strongly encourage it... it's absolutely stunning!!! Study up on the sun clocks, your birthday moons, have navigation had originated by following the stars.
People still scoff at those of us who speak of all the stars and everything celestial and how it affects mankind, and nature in general; but you really don't know. The human body, is what... 60 to 70% water??? The moon can shift entire oceans, yet you say it has no affect on humans??? I think you should really look up why we have the term "lunatic" (example). Maybe go visit an ER on the nights of a full moon!!!
Today is also known as UNIVERSAL MUSIC DAY. I think this one is self explanatory, but I will quote Billy Joel, nonetheless, as he said it perfectly...
"I THINK MUSIC IN ITSELF IS HEALING. IT'S EXPLOSIVE EXPRESSION OF HUMANITY. IT'S SOMETHING WE ARE ALL TOUCHED BY. NO MATTER WHAT CULTURE WE'RE FROM, EVERYONE LOVES MUSIC!!!"
I couldn't have said it better... music, like food... are universal languages that break barriers like nothing else.
Anyways, I didn't come here to lecture anybody. I just happened to see what today represents and wanted to share with people. I hope you all have an amazing Saturday. I hope you all get out to enjoy these last days of, somewhat, decent weather... get out and see the changing of the seasons; go see the leaves' colours and just as they do; remember that every year, those leaves may "die" but in the spring they are "reborn". This is the cycle of life. A sense of renewed hope...
Stay safe. Stay warm/cool. Be well. Be blessed. Most of all... Be Loved.
