Boundaries Set For a Reason...

 

Page 303 of 366. Good Evening Lovies. I hope your day has gone well. I do apologize in advance, as I am a lil loopy from medications, dealing with the pain from my surgery done yesterday. I am not a whiner, so I am pushing myself through this and will conquer it as I always do. 

(Yes, I am excessively grateful for all those who have been encouraging to me and stand by me or even lifted me up when I have stumbled, or stuck on the ground!!!).

I kinda of wanna discuss; even expose, someone who tried to "toy" with me and when I gave him back the same energy he gave me, he was butt hurt. I am not going to apologize for my words or actions because it is what it is...

I am in this group on facebook (No, I am not going to mention the name of it...), but a  conversation unfolded like this...

MALE: your profile seemed wild. Do you mind us messaging private?
ME: I really keep my fb limited to people I know in real life. I am not accusing you, or anyone of ill intentions, but I don't speak privately with random people, especially people I don't have any friends in common with. It's a respect, honour and loyalty thing.
MALE: alright take care and I do respect that policy but I don't think that's why the meta verse is built, cause I don't think we would even exchange comments of it was built for such policy of yours.
(He deleted comments here, after I replied...)
ME: thank you for the respect... these comments and discussion are on a public forum... and my fb and msgr are for personal private chats... with people I know in real life. I hope that this clarified it. Have a great day!!!

Am I wrong to express what my own personal policies are??? I don't think I did anything wrong as I expressed what my boundaries were, and I don't change them for anyone... does this seem outlandish to anyone, or unreasonable??? I am just curious.

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
