Is It Really Meant to Be???

Page 304 of 366. Good Morning Lovies. I haven't even looked outside my curtains yet, but I hope you all have a wonderful day and that the weather is what you like it to be... I am one who likes it dreary and rainy; or cooler. Yes... I know I am weird; we have established this many, many moons ago :P

This entry is going to be a bit of a weird one because those who really, really know me; know I geek out and go deep into nerd mode when it comes to learning about historical things or celestial events...

Please bear with me as I try to put my thoughts down today... they may seem frazzled.

I had a recent discussion with friends of mine when TV programs like "The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" or "The Curse of Oak Island" were brought up. The topic got to where we were kind of debating if things like this should actually be researched and unearthed; or if it things that are simply meant to be left alone.

(I know this sounds insane from someone who is obsessed with learning about history of our ancestors' and their way of life).

A big thing for me is the pyramids (not just the ones in Egypt), as I find them to be sacred. I really don't think people should be digging under, and in them. I truly feel there are some things in life that are just not meant to be touched. I found it a HUGE sense of disrespect (and doom) when Travis Scott was announced to perform at the Pyramids of Giza. I really don't care who the performer was, it could be anyone. I firmly believe that ancient land is sacred and should be respected as such.

There have been soooooo many theories about those pyramids; but the true origins and how they were constructed, to this day, keeps mankind baffled... I believe there is a reason for that!!! Archeologists and people in general, believed that the pyramids were tombs... WRONG!!! It was proven when they opened a sarcophagus in one of the chambers, and it was empty. This alone, should have made them think twice about digging any further.

(Maybe it is just my way of thinking, and respecting what is and what was. There must be a reason things were so protected and private. I feel people should respect that before it becomes a FAFO kinda of thing!!!)

How about the Mayan Pyramids???

Oddly enough... even though they were built centuries later than the Egyptian ones, I find these ones even more sacred and disturbing (for lack of a better word). Maybe because the entire Mayan and Aztec civilizations were completely wiped out that I have a profound respect and awe for what is left of their Mesoamerican culture/world. Yes, they were wiped out, but we still have millions of their descendants today; although their human sacrificing days are over.

Interestingly, Visitors are NOT allowed inside the Aztec pyramids, because like most Mesoamerican pyramids (and unlike Egyptian ones), Mesoamerican pyramids are built on top of already existing pyramids.

At the end of all this, it begs the question...

WHY ARE TOURISTS ALLOWED INSIDE THE EYGPTIAN PYRAMIDS, BUT ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE ANY OF THE MESOAMERICAN PYRAMIDS???

Is it really a structural thing, or is there something much deeper and secretive about the mesoamerican pyramids?

This leads me down the rabbithole now because then you have to wonder... if the pure blooded Aztecs and Mayans were destroyed by the Europeans, who either killed them in battle, or killed them with their foreign diseases like smallpox, how do we, as a society, have so much supposed information on these pyramids and the civilizations' culture and rituals than we do of the ancient Eygptians, who have meticulous records of their intricate history???

Once again... leading me to believe that somethings are just meant to remain a mystery and left alone... kind of like Stonehenge, the prehistoric megalithic structure on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England. Did you know they have discovered one right here in our own Great Lakes??? There is a mini structure that resembles it, submerged in Lake Michigan. It is believed this one was created 4,000 years before Stonehenge was made.

What are your thoughts on things like this??? Do you feel that we should be excavating and digging into places like these, trying to find out where, why, how, what and who were involved with them; or are some things just better left alone? I don't know, maybe it is the spiritual side of me that screams these are sacred things that are meant to be just that, and if our ancestors meant for us to know about them, they would have shared the knowledge through generations. But, then again, what do I know, right?!!

Stay safe. Stay cool/warm. Be well. Be blessed. Most of all.... Be loved!!!
