"A WHITE GUY WHO HAS DONE SOMETHING RELATED TO THE MILITARY."

Hi. Not really in the mood for any type of salutations today. It's Day 317 of 366... and here comes out my passionate side... my "I am fkn pissed off, and you best be fkn running" side!!!

A video popped up on my social media this morning, and don't worry, I will be posting the link to it at the end of this blurb...

As you all know, here in Canada we celebrated, honoured, respected our fallen heroes, our military, our men, women and animals that have/had served our country to give us the freedoms we have enjoyed and continue to fight for, even now...

I understand this is a day that most countries honour their fallen, but I do NOT know their customs and I won't pretend I know it all (as I don't). What I DO know, is that every year at the 11th hour, of the 11th day of the 11th month; we Canadians take 2 minutes of silence to honour and reflect on those who lost their lives fighting for our freedoms... that being said; we also sing our National Anthem (the REAL one... not one that people keep revising to fit their narrative)!!!

Here's the part that blew my mind...

A school here in Ontario, Canada played a PALESTINIAN PROTEST SONG IN ARABIC AS ITS REMEMBRANCE DAY MUSIC!!!

SAY WHAT NOW???

This was a decision made by Aaron Hobbs the pricipal at Sir Robert Borden HIghschool. He has defended his actions by saying, "It brings diversity and inclusion to Remebrance Day that is usually only about "A WHITE GUY WHO HAS DONE SOMETHING RELATED TO THE MILITARY."

Am I just a nutjob, or this just absolutely insane??? Obviously many parents in attendance felt this was utterly disrespectful, and this Remebrance day service took away from the events of the way, it took away from the sacrifices of others. The school did not represent what those soldiers had been through; with those surviving and going on to raise families... the children didn't get any of that at the assembly.

One parents is quoted as saying, "What they did was not about that. It did not represent that at all. It ignored my great uncle's memory. It is not inclusive when you are excluding others." Here's the link...

DISRESPECTFUL REMEMBRANCE DAY ASSEMBLY EXPOSED

Lisa MacLeod who is MPP of that area has said this song did not follow the Royal Canadian Legion protocols and was distressing to Jewish students. Apparently others in authority feel the same way, including the school board director; and who can blame him considering the school is named after  a former Prime Minister who was in World War I.

Many, Many people are calling for discipline against Aaron Hobb... Let's hope this disgraced man, NO I cannot even call him a "Canadian", gets fired and faces consequences for literally spitting ont he graves of sooooooo many of our fallen!!!

Now, as a person who was born here... I feel this is utterly disrespectful and a disgrace to all Canadians. I fully acknowledge that we are a very diverse country; that's part of what makes Canada great. We have Asians, British, English, Irish, Scottish, Afro Canadians, Hispanics, Jamaicans, Portuguese, Spanish, Italians, Greeks, Dutch, German, Iranian, Syrians, etc

The point I am trying to make is this... If you live in this country... THIS IS YOUR COUNTRY... This is your nation... This is your home... It doesn't matter where you came from... You are here. You are to respect ALL who served and gave you the freedom to be here.

It wasn't just some white guy... many nationalities/races/skin colours fought together in the wars... they all should be honoured and respected; not tossed off so frivilously by a man who once again decided to change the narrative to fit an agenda that was not his to make.

Sorry I am so angry about this; but as some people like to say... I am very passionate about things and this is definitely one of them.
