It's the 11th Month....

Page 306 of 366. Good afternoon Lovies. We are in the 11th month of this drearily long year. It has been incredibly insane for a lot of people; a lot of losses, medical problems and our governments continue to break us down as we watch more and more people end up in dire straits and ending up on what I can only describe as skid row. After writing all that, it is kind of hard to write about what I am about to say; because... I guess you'll just have to see...

As, at least us Canadians know, November 11th is known as Remembrance Day here. It's a day that we take to remember our military and our fallen. We take 2 minutes at the 11th hour of the day. We stand in 2 minutes of silence and reflect on all they have done to fight for our rights and freedoms.

I, for one, have never understood how all of these brave, selfless people only deserved 2 minutes of our time to be honoured for everything they have done to make our great and beautiful country what it is... but then again... I don't think this current generation has even gotten the chance to see what we can and have been able to describe as a "great and beautiful" nation.

It's appalling what the current government has done to its very own people... frankly, it's disturbing and like many, I feel there is a civil war/revolution on its way!!!

Our once country that took pride in its rights and freedoms as a first world country has turned into what is almost a communist country, no better than a third world place. Despite this, I still honour our land. I love the fact that I am Canadian!!!

I refuse to allow the bastards who govern over this land control the pride I hold in the gorgeous land we have, and the rights and freedoms our ancestors fought for. I will NOT allow them to cheapen everything they have done because they are trying to destroy our homeland.

I AM FUCKING CANADIAN BY EVERY RIGHT!!! I WAS BORN AND RAISED HERE...

I will stand with honour and respect on November 11th and remember how our military fought for this land. I will remember how they shed their own blood to ensure we had the right to speak. The freedom to vote. The freedom of religion (or not). The right to vote, or not (Long story there)...

On the opposite end, I also take this month to remember the Indigenous people of Canada who were forced to be part of a war they should never had to have fought. I want people to never forget that their land was taken against their will, and despite that, they fought for this land too. I could ramble on and on about this topic but I want to leave it here.

It will always be... LEST WE FORGET!!!

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all of us command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
