What's the Cost of 1 Bullet???

Afternoon everyone. I know I have spoken about this criminal case in my crime blog; and even though it may not be known world-wide; it is definitely known throughout Canada and is actually personal for some of us.

I'm talking about Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka case.

I am not going to get into the nitty gritty of the case because frankly, even mentioning their names puts a bitter taste in my mouth.

I read an article that PB is up for parole AGAIN. Can someone who is actually of sound mind explain to me how this PIG is still alive? He raped countless women/girls (he admitted to 14); killed 2 teenagers, sodomized at least two other young girls and there were assaults he never faced consequences for...

Therein, lies my question...

There is irrefutable proof of this sadist fuck committing all of these crimes, yet he has been sitting in prison since 1995. He is a serial killer and rapist... Can ANYONE explain WHY the taxpayers are housing monsters (and calling him that is an insult to monsters) like him???

November 26th, 2024 will be his 3rd attempt to get parole. First attempt,he pretty much didn't really acknowledge how severe his crimes really were (2018). Second attempt, the board rejected him again, even though he asked for anti-sex drive medications aka chemical castration... Last year there was a bit of an uproar because the asshole was permitted to be transferred from a maximum security facility to a medium security institution in Quebec... ironically, the same place Luka Magnotta (another man associated with Karla Homolka is)... AND the same province that Karla Homolka, her husband and children live in... Coincidence??? I think not!!!

As you can guess, my question is this... if we have cases like this... WTF are we not simply putting these creatures down like the rabid beasts they are???

Think about it for a minute...

How much does it cost the taxpayers to house a single inmate a year? According to government statistics the cost to maintain a single inmate DAILY is $345!!! An average of $126,000 annually. How does that sit well with anyone???

So then it begs the questions...

WHY DID CANADA FULLY ABOLISH THE DEATH PENALTY ON DECEMBER 10TH, 1998???

(The last actual capital punishment that happened in Canada was the execution of Arthur Lucas and Ronald Turpin, both were hung at Toronto's Don Jail on December 11th, 1962).

HOW MUCH IS THE AVERAGE PRICE FOR A BULLET???

(K, don't ask me why I know any of this information... google if you want to get into the nitty gritty of which firearm you choose and the cost of the ammunition. But let's just say ONE round is under a dollar)...

You all see where I am going with this... Our governments have gone "soft". I know, people will disagree, and that is their perrogative. I understand the whole "but what if the wrong person is executed???" I agree. Let's make a million percent sure. When their is undeniable proof, like videos and pictures and texts, etc... I don't see why these monsters should be allowed to stay alive.

Look at the United States, who have people on deathrow for a good 20-30 years, if not more... Can you explain to me, what exactly is the point of them being given a death sentence, when that usually ends up them living their full life and dying in prison... and???!!! THAT'S NOT JUSTICE!!!

Food for thought....
