Stop Using This Term...

 

Page 355 of 366. Good Evening/Night Lovies. I know it is very late for me to be posting an entry, but as you can guess, it has been a rather busy day for me... both in my mind and physically. 

GAWD!!! I cannot stand people!!! Trust... I had to go grocery shopping today. 

I am NOT one of these chicks that can go aisle by aisle and spend hours shopping... I am in the store, grab the shyt that is on my list and I am outta there!!! 

I can't handle people. I can't handle the whiny, bratty kids. I can't handle the snotty, hoity toity broads who want everything a specific way, or whatever tf they want... grab your shyt and LEAVE!!!

Anyways, I had to write about this particular topic tonight because I constantly see people using this term, over and over again; especially those who think they have fallen in love with someone... First off... if you have FALLEN in love with someone... falling implies that you, at some point, need to get back up... so as quickly as you fell, you will be dusting yourself off to get back up. Second, the term I am talking about is sooooo over-used that most people have ZERO clue what it even means anymore. What's the term I am talking about, you may ask???

"YOU'RE MY RIDE OR DIE!!!"

GTFOH!!! I am so sick of hearing this about people who claim this is what their love is all about. Someone they have been with for a couple months, maybe years, maybe even decades... but are they REALLY your "ride or die"??? 

Would they honestly catch a bullet for you???
Would they do absolutely anything for you to ensure you are "good", far and above anyone else in their life??? 
Would they drop everything and everyone to be there for you???
Are they someone who will always have your six??? 
Are they someone who will ALWAYS defend your honour, no matter who is in the room??? 
Would they be the one beside you in the back of a cop car, or in a jail cell or in the prisoner's dock with you???

(Not even blinking an eye. Not questioning a thing???)

I can assure you that most of your relationships, and partners wouldn't do any of these things, probably turning on you on a dime... 

Honour, respect, loyalty, and trust has gone out the window with most of all the ol school ways... unfortunately, those of us from the ol ways are a dying breed; we are being replaced by things that are pansies, snowflakes who can't even tell if they are a man or a woman, let alone if they are a human, animal or object. 

WOW!!! THIS WORLD REALLY HAS GONE DOWN THE SHITTER!!!

I can admit that I have had partners that I have and will stand by. I am still willing to catch bullets for them; but let's be real I will never be their "ride or die"... I only have one of those in my life. It's not to disrespect anyone I love... it's a matter of who has always shown the same loyalty, respect, love and honour I have. Just an FYI to everyone, your "Ride or Die" doesn't necessarily need to be your life partner, your lover, your spouse. It can be someone who has been a lifetime friend. It could be your best friend, regardless if you are two women, or two guys, or a chick and a dude.... FACTS ARE FACTS!!!

But please STOP using a term, you NO concept about!!! Hope y'all have a great night. Stay safe. Stay warm/cool. Be well. Be blessed. Most of all, Be loved.

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
