The Black Moon of 2024 is Upon Us

Hi y'all. I guess this is the perfect time for me to get a lil "witchy" on everyone. 

I have talked a bit about how people around the world tend to MOSTLY follow the 12 month calendar that is currently best suiting the narrative of the collective human race, while some of us, continue to use a 13 month calendar... 

... one that follows the 13 cycles of the moon.

(That is literally putting it in a very simple nutshell... solar versus lunar!!!)

People are fairly familiar with the term "once in a blue moon", which refers to the second full moon in a one month period. The "Black Moon" happens when there are two NEW moons in  a one month period. Please keep in mind that this is not the "Dark Moon".

The Dark moon focuses on reflection, release and shadow work, whereas the Black moon brings a powerful energy seeding potential, powerful manifestation (please be cautious about the words and actions you release to the universe); and an extreme focus on long-term goals. The Black moon we are at a doorway (so to speak) where we are not working through releasing the past, but creating a deep alignment with the future.

It's time to take the words of Jelly Roll literally... "There is a reason the rearview mirror is so much smaller than the windshield"... it is time to step forward... FOCUS and MANIFEST what you want for the future, leaving the past, exactly where it is.

The BLACK moon holds an intensified new moon energy. It is the time to set strong, clear intentions that will shape you future.

Traditionally the new moon is the time for planting seeds and setting intentions... the BLACK moon has a unique position to enhance that energy, making it much more powerful and long-term.

The BLACK moon is about creating the space for NEW growth, but not through releasing the past (which is what the dark moon is for). The work you are doing during the Black moon is more focused on action and intentional work towards your future.

I know many don't deal with deities, while others do. I am going to talk about the Dark Goddess Lilith, as she is deeply connected to the Black moon. She represents the untamed feminine, the archetype of freedom, independence and empowerment. She is the first woman in many, many myths believed to be THE one who refused to be controlled, embodying the power of embracing your full, authenitc self. 

Lilith is not about releasing or reflecting that we normally associate with the Dark moons. Lilith is about claiming power, manifesting desires and breaking free from limitations.

The Black New Moon in Capricorn on December 30, 2024 (5:26pm EST)

Needless to say, the Black moon has Lilth's energy giving you your own power. Your own personal assertion for reclaiming your own freedom and demanding your own space in this world/earthly plane. 

What's interesting is this Black moon is in Capricorn, a sign that is ruled by discipline and ambition; so this is definitely the perfect time to invoke Lilith's help with clearing spaces for your deepest desires and dreams.

 You will, with her help, maintain unshakable intentions and stay true to your own path. 

You must not compromise, hesitate or go with your intentions in fear. Manifest it all while standing tall in your desires!!!

With the energy of Capricorn anchoring your goals and Lilith empowering your path, this is the perfect moment to set the stafe for the future you deserve and desire. Stand true to yourself, and what you yourself truly want and need... focus solely on that and with Lilith, all things are possible.
