The Last Page of the 12th Chapter

Page 366 of 366. 

Hello my Lovies. Today, is the last day of what seemed like a long year to some ~ at points, it definitely felt like it ~ other times, it flew by faster than I care to say... 

I guess that is the joys of getting older; for some crazy ass reason, time seems to slip by far quicker with age. 

Don't ask me how that works!!! I am on my 50th trip around the sun, and I still haven't figured out this whole "time" thing. LOL

I am first off going to ask that people don't talk to me about their "new year, new me" bullshit; just admit it... we are all going to be the same people we were this past year; and the previous years.

The one thing, I have learned about this night is this...

The way you spend tonight, and ring in the new year is exactly how your year is going to be. I implore you all to make it the best of the best; or as good as you can. I am going to stick to my usual stance and be with people I love; people I call famILY. Without a question, I obviously plan on watching the hockey game tonight... 

DUH!!! I AM CANADIAN!!!

I am not a partier... and I am not going to start now. I will be sipping my peach champagne and chillaxing. I generally don't even care about ringing in the new year because frankly, the calendar the world follows today is wayyyyyyy off from the traditional one we should be following... something, no one is ready to talk about!!!

All I ask, is all of my friends and family, those who are near and far... home or travelling; please stay safe. I hope you all have a fantastic time wherever you are. May 2025 bring you whatever your heart desires. I wish you nothing but health, love, happiness and beautiful times (memories). I shall raise a glass to you all tonight, as the tradition is. 

May all the BS of this year dissipate, with the drop of the ball at the twelfth strike of midnight!

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
