It's a Hide Under the Covers Kinda Day
Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.
Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.
Today, however; things kinda went sideways.
I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. I know, I don't share a lot of my medical nor really personal stuff on here, but just so you're aware, this has been happening daily since end of May/beginning of June last year. I am what they call an "anemic blood clotter" which I didn't think was possible, but apparently it runs on the paternal side of my family.
Anyways, that was the main focus of my visit after that. My stomach medication is being switched AGAIN, this time I am being set up with an antibiotic (which is crazy because he NEVER orders antibiotics, unless dire), and some other medications I can't remember at the moment. :( I have to go see Thromo as soon as possible, it looks like there are blood clots in my lungs AGAIN!!!
My sciatica is acting up, which is always a blast (NOT!!!) I really need to break out of the habit of sitting with my legs crossed; something I have done since I was a wee lass, so it's hard to break that habit. I have to get ultrasounds on both my legs, thanks to these wonderful things called "clots".
The insane thing is this... I went to tell him that sugar intake does NO effect my glucose at all... sodium does! We didn't get to deal with the fact that ever since the hospital fucked up, and overdosed me on fentanyl during a procedure, my body sometimes forgets to swallow, even if it is just saliva (get your heads outta the gutter).
I guess it's a good thing I see him again next week. Kidney specialist is in a month and a half. Gastro in 2 weeks as well as Thrombo (again, since I have to see them ASAP now). Hematology, Oncology. Neurology (for both IIH and seizures)... it is NEVER ending!!! I really want to say stop all the medical shyt, and let nature take its course, but I have too much to live for.
That being said... I hope you all stay safe. Stay warm/cool. Be well. Be blessed and most of all, Be loved.
