It's Sooooo Weird

Page 22 of 365. Hi Lovies. I know, it has been a minute since I have written; unfortunately life has totally gotten in the way ~ and not in the good way!!!

Eight days since my last confession... just kidding!!! Kinda feels that way though!

The past 8 days have been a bit of a blur, as I had a couple visits to the hospital... one more frightening than the next...

Last week Tuesday, I had a dr appt with my family practitioner; that is usually a few minute discussion; but turned into something a bit more. (Its written in my previous blurb)... Later that evening, the pain became unbearable, and 9-1-1 was called.

It should be noted, I am extremely stubborn when it comes to going to the hospital; but felt this was necessary, because not only was I having the usual vomiting of dark blood, and vertigo... I was paralyzed for an hour and a half, from my waist down. I had a headache that was causing me to speak jibberish. Firefighters attended to me until the ambulance arrived, they kept an eye on my heart because of my Afib. My numbers were reading fairly well, but I had a fever of 103.2 at this point. They loaded me fairly quickly and we were off the hospital here, that deals with hearts and trauma, like I needed.

Unfortunately, my body decided to not cooperate with the medics, and I bottomed out. I remember hearing the Medic saying "60" "30" "Nothing"... Next words I heard was him telling his partner it was just over 3 minutes but returned on its own. THe medic asked me to open my eyes, asking if I was just dizzy. I said, "Very!" I was sooooo nauseous, and he put an iv in, while on our way to the hospital. I DID warn him that I tend to bottom out; but they were more concerned with me having a PE (pulmonary embolism) and getting to the hospital as soon as we could.

After various tests, fluids and medications pushed through my veins... it was concluded that I had a minor clot in my lung; which isn't the first one for me. The clots I had in my liver are now gone. The interesting thing was.... the cement block on my chest was a valid feeling. I have a cyst on my left lung that is pressing against my T5 vertabrae, this is causing significant pain, and also explains WHY I am having "fits" of paralysis in my legs. They suggested I follow my family dr's orders of antibiotics and keep my other specialists' appts.

Next afternoon, I was feeling even worse than the day before, I had to go back to the hospital; and because I had bottomed out in the ambulance, I couldn't just have anyone drive me and them worry about it happening with them. Thankfully I didn't have to repeat tests and re-explain everything I was coping with. I did go for ultrasound of my heart, where they learned my pericarditis was back. Okay, awesome.... I've got fluid around my heart among other brutal things right now. AT LEAST I NOW HAVE SOMETHING I CAN WORK WITH!!!

I know I am rambling, but I just wanted to give you an update on my medical. I have so much more to write about other things; but this might be it for tonight. I am exhausted. I hope you all have a safe, warm, healthy, happy night. Be blessed. Be loved.
