Good Afternoon Lovies. My topic for this blurb may be bit of a controversial one; mainly because of the views society holds these days. I have been told there is very little "grey area" in my way of thinking; and I openly admit, this is true. 

It is not something that has been programmed in me, or that I have been conditioned to be like. It is simply the way life is... at least for me.

A lot of people SAY they are "ol school", but let me tell you... most of them are not fully committed to EVERYTHING that means!!! 

When it comes to the topic at hand especially.

I am not writing this to argue with people. I am not writing this because I want to "agree to disagree" with anyone. People are entitled to their own opinion; but I AM going to share mine!!!

I saw pictures of the Kanye West and his wife (the same way he dressed Kim Kardashian), who stepped on the red carpet at the Grammy's; and my first thought was how disgusting she was dressed. If I had young teens, or kids who watched the show... as we know, many artists are extremely influential in their own way. To dress in outfits that pretty much show all your "lady bits", shows 1. That you have NO respect for yourself. 2. Your man has no respect for you, and 3. You, as his woman, are showing absolutely ZERO respect towards your man.

I honestly feel, women should NOT be dressing like hoochies if they have a man. Think about it for a minute... Why are you dressing like that? (I acknowledge that some women dress in sexy outfits because they are building their self-esteem, or something similar to that) BUT more often than not, a woman is dressed like that to get attention.

When I see women dressed like that, it makes me question why they need to attract men with their bodies??? Are you daft? 

Maybe I am weird in my way of thinking, but that's like hooking up with the hottest guy on the dancefloor, and getting with him because he is a great dancer... Tell me this... What's he gonna do when you have a flat tire??? Moonwalk back to town??? Let's be real people. If a guy is hooking up with you because of your looks, remember looks will fade; and the greatest piece of advice I can pass on to you is this...

"WHY WOULD A MAN (BUY THE COW), so to speak, STAY WITH YOU, COMMIT TO YOU, BUILD A LIFE WITH YOU, WHEN HE'S GETTING THE MILK FOR FREE???"

If this post offends you, feel free to keep scrolling, as this is only my opinion. I will live my life by these codes and continue to do so. Ol school will always be the way of life for me.

It's a Hide Under the Covers Kinda Day

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. I know, I don't share a lot of my medical nor really personal stuff on here, but just so you're aware, this has been happening daily since end of May/beginning of June last year. I am what they call an "anemic blood clotter" which I didn't think was possible, but apparently it runs on the paternal side of my family. Anyways, that was the main focus of my visit after that.   Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
