Excuse Me... Are You De Lu Lu???

Page 59 of 365. The last page of the second chapter of 2025. Hi Lovies. How are you all today? I hope you're having a great FriYay, and the weekend that follows will be just as awesome. This blurb is obviously going to be a controversial one... you can see it in the title... so I am just gonna jump right in, rather than babble on about other stuff, not relevant to this post.

As you all know, I am in a groups that talks about the lies in the Bible. It started with some video about a chick saying Christianity worships a false god, etc. It was more of a video to cause BS arguments in the group and I engaged in the conversation.

This little video led to some guy saying women need to keep their mouths shut, quoting a bible verse that says, " women should keep silent in the churches. for they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husband at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church." ~ I Corinthians 14 versus 14 & 15.

There were men who were instantly scoffing at the person spewing these words. I just put a laugh emoji after each of the comments; until the one was questioned, "as smart as women are, why has MAN always tried to keep them down???" (I found that to be a fascinating question and couldn't wait for the response...)

Idiot replies with its a lack of reading comprehension, not MAN but GOD. He's told that the Bible was written by men, not a true god. Idiot says, "Men appointed by God." (At this point I had enough....)

"PROVE IT!!!" I couldn't bite my tongue anymore. Idiot returns with a bible quote. I remind him that quoting sentences out of the fable book in question is not proof; and to present us with something tangible. He then asked if I could prove I exist??? (I think dude has flipped and gone stupid at this point!!!)

I tell him there is actual proof of my birth, witnesses, pictures. It's not some made up story... this isn't the "Truman Show"... Once again, I asked him to give me some scientific factual prove to back up his claims; when in actuality there are many things written in the bible, that have been DISPROVEN.

This convo continued on and on, as he started to call me narrow minded, and close minded. He asked me if I could fake my own death... something that God has predestined... OHHHHHH MANNNNN.... TRIGGERED!!!!

"So skydaddy predestined where I'll go, right??? So then why would it matter what I do in this lifetime AND if our lives and deaths are predetermined by God, why would he sacrifice his own supposed son to die for all of our sins; asking us to repent??? Why would religions require people to renounce satan and confess sins, and get baptized to wash away their sins so they may enter the "Kingdom of God". If God predestined all of this, nothing we say nor do would change that, right? Make it make sense!!!

His response was, "If you can stop death I'll believe you!" ARE PEOPLE REALLY THIS DELULU??? (Don't answer, this is a complete rhetorical question; I have dealt with "Christians" my whole life). I again repeated that how am I narrowminded if I am asking him questions that he could not answer. I am open minded wanting to hear what he believes and why; but then have these idiotic religious rites that are contradicting their very belief system.. He said he had nothing to explain, and proceeded with the name calling. I simply told him that was a typical response. I am NOT the Jackass whisperer and wished him the day/night that he deserved..

Then we had another special breed come into the conversation, talking about how the church says Jesus is white to support the slavery business. I told him it also happened because the Anglo Saxons wanted to convert Pagans to Christianity, it's also why they changed their calendar to align with the Pagan one. This guy continued to talk about slavery, every comment.mentioning Catholics owned slaves that's why they needed a white Jesus. It was his reponse to everything, until I finally said...

"I'm done with this topic. It wasn't changed just because of slaves. I'm not being racist, but every culture and race have been subjected to slavery. I am not going to continue a convo when I stated ONE OFTHE REASONS why they changed their zombie into a white guy... PERIOD!!! Go preach the slavery stuff elsewhere. There were MANY aspects why they changed Jesus' image to be white, when anyone with half a brain knows this imaginary character was brown-skinned.

To end this blurb, I want to add this...

I have friends of various faiths and religions. What people choose to have faith in, or believe in, is entirely a personal choice.I am not making fun of them. I respect them. as they respect me... it's the radicals that bug me. The ones who try to ram their beliefs down other people's throats. Anyways, that is my two cents on this topic...
