It's a Day...

Good Afternoon Lovies. It's a beautiful day outside; I hope y'all are out and enjoying it. well, at least as good as you can enjoy a Monday.

I literally feel braindead from the weekend. I have NO drive today. It took everything in me to even get out of bed today. 

I guess it is a good thing I did, otherwise I would have missed yet another important specialist appointment coming up this week. Isn't life grand??? (input sarcasm)

If it were just me, I would just tell all the medical in my life to simply "fuck off" and just be done with it; but I have things to live for. I have people to live for... one in particular. Usually when shyt hits the fan, by the boat load, I pack up my necessities and I hit the road; this time I didn't... which is a HUGE feat, if you know me at all.

Anyways, this isn't the topic I wanted to write about...

I read an article today about a father who found his child being molested (or some form of sexual assault or rape), by a supposed family friend. Without hesitation the father went in and beat the living crap out of the assailant/perp... He had proceeded to the kitchen to retrieve a knife to finish him offl when his son (the abused), convinced him not to.

(I truly don't know who is more of a hero... the vigilante father or the victim who wanted proper justice)...

This is a moment where I can say the judicial system got it right. The father did NOT face any sort of criminal charges, as he was protecting and defending his child from a predator who was in the act of attcking his child in his own home.

On the flip side, I don't think this perp deserves any kind of mercy. If I were the judge, I would have made sure he went into GP (General Population), and let all the inmates know what he did... let nature take its course!!! I cannot stand when the justice system protects these pigs and places them in PC (Protective Custody).

Am I telling people to go out and be vigilantes??? NO. BUT this world would be a much better place if creeps like this were publicly dealt with. They'd learn really quick that these kind of crimes will never be tolerated by society... JUST SAYIN

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!!   Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
