Hello Lovies. I hope you all get to enjoy this long weekend... the signs that Spring is into full swing. I wanna write about this weekend specifically; well, this is where my 'panties get in a twist", so to speak...

To Christians, this is one of the most important weekend of their calendar year. They celebrate the execution (ummm death of the sacrificial lamb), of their precious lord and saviour Jesus Christ. 

I am not going to share all the religious days that are marked on the calendars, but I am going to bring up the fact that none of the Wiccan holidays are on the calendar. Wicca is a recognized religion, along with Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, etc. It seems that most calendars share those religious holidays on the mass calendars... why the prejudice??? 

I think if you're going to put religious days on the calendar, you need to put ALL of them, or NONE of them!!! I prefer the latter, but who am I, right?

The reason this "gets my goat" is that all the holidays that Christians/Catholics celebrate are based off of Pagan holidays... We have what is called the "wheel of the year".

The Wheel of the Year is compromised of 8 festivals (Sabbats), 4 are solstices and equinoxes (solar festivals); and 4 cross-quarter festivals, that mark the midpoint between them.

It irks me how ignorant people have become to the traditions they have intertwined into their holy days, knowing those are rituals of Pagans... people who were beaten, burned, maimed, drowned, hung (among other brutal acts)... You STOLE those people's rituals and made them their own, AFTER you MURDERED them for not following your ways!!!

DISGUSTING!!!

So forgive me... or don't. Your lines are blurred. Your beliefs are marred. Your actions are atrocious and you have ZERO ground for judgement. Remember that, and what you did to my Ancestors when you act like cannibals and take your communion of saints. At the end of the day, I am in the craft, but...

I AM PAGAN. I AM PROUD!!! BY THE WAY... I AM ONE OF THE GRANDDAUGHTERS OF THE WITCHES YOU COULD NOT KILL!!!

Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? FFS I Matter Too!!!

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
