Good Morning Lovies. 

It's the first official long weekend of "summer" here in Canada. My laptop is showing me that it is "light rain" outside... if the temperatures are as hot as they were yesterday then I am welcoming this. If I was out in the country... I'd be out dancing in it. 

Yes, I am weird to some people AND there is an actual name for it... I am a storm lover aka Pluviophile. You all know me, so there is technically two terms I can use, the other being that I love thunder and lightning (thunderstorms), that's a Ceraunophile. 

I'm not much for labels... I'll stick with that I find storms and rain sensual... on many levels!!!

Welp, it is Victoria Day weekend here... usually called "May 2-4" here in the Great (White) North... I am staying home, pretty grateful I am not going to be stuck in the surge of insane traffic heading to cottage country. I don't miss the days of people being soooo smashed out of their minds, that they can't talk nor walk straight. My kids are grown, I am NOT anyone's babysitter.

I am also very happy to not be on the roads with people who never get it through their thick skulls that driving under the influence is NOT okay!!! It's the most selfish thing in the world. Driving under the influence is like taking a loaded weapon into a crowded event and shooting at random; except your firearm is your car. It's the one thing I dread hearing on the news, especially on weekends like this... why people still do this and why the punishment isn't way more severe is the reason offenders and repeat offenders will never learn.

I am going to end this blurb with this...

I have friends, family and loved ones all over the place. I want to see them all reach their destination and return home in one piece, safe and sound. Please stay safe on the roads and KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!!! Watch out for bikes; stay off your phones. Stay safe. Stay cool. Be well. Be blessed. Most of all, Be LOVED!!!

Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Years went by, and I allowed this woman to have control over certain things that were weighing heavily on my heart, She held the one piece of the puzzle that felt missing from my heart... who my biological father was?!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
