Good Afternoon my Lovies. First, let me begin with wishing all the beautiful mothers (those that are with us and those that have passed on) a wonderful Mother's Day. 

This also goes out to all the Stepmoms who stepped up, including my son's bonus mom... Her and his father did an awesome job raising a well-rounded, respectful young man.

Let's remember those who are mothers to angel babies; mothers of furbabies... also I want to acknowledge those Dads who stepped up and took on the role of mother as well. 

Everyone who plays the motherly role in any child's life deserves recognition today!!!

I know the picture doesn't really represent Mother's Day to the average person, unfortunately it is EXACTLY what it represents to me when it comes to my "Mother"... I DO wish her a Happy Mother's Day, but I won't be seeing her. I have chosen my path... and it is the path of peace. 

I am listening to the wisest person I know; also the person who knows me the best. I have chosen to not stay in this never-ending cycle of a hamster wheel, and hopped off. I will not continue to try to be whatever they want me to be. I am going to be me, and if people cannot accept that... there's the door, don't let it hit your ass on the way out!!!

I guess, if you cannot read between the lines, the battle in my family (Adopted) has always been about religion. I am a free spirited woman. I believe in the universe. I believe in loving people for who they are, not what they can bring to the table. I don't think people should be condemned to whatever others deem to be the worst case scenario simply because their beliefs don't line up with mine.

That is all I really wanted to get out today. I don't want to dwell on shyt today. I hope everyone is out enjoying the weather, surrounded by their loved ones... whether it be physically, or on the phone, or video chat... or simply in their hearts. Just let it be a day of LOVE!!!

Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
