Quite the Day

Wow, this is my third entry today. I had full intentions to chillax all day, alas the universe had other plans for me!!!

I woke up at the crack ass of dawn. Why the hell would anyone wanna be up at that time on a Saturday??? Inquiring minds need to know?!!

I went up to my sister's, shot the shyt for a while with her and Ma; came back downstairs; listening to tunes and relaxing.

Unfortunately, that didn't last long...

I didn't hear a thing until my roommate came into my room, informing that there are 12 fire trucks outside and the fire alarms are going off in the hallways. I know that I am supposed to stay in my apartment until a firefighter helps get me out of the building; but I had my roommate with me, so we took the stairs... it was only one floor.

There were ashes falling in the stairwell... my apartment is beside the stairwell. We were stopped by three firefighters that told us it was safer for us to remain in the apartment, until further notice. We returned and went on the balcony... 

HOLY SHITSHOW BATMAN!!!

Cops and Firefighters EVERYWHERE. it wasn't a false alarm, nor was it some misfits pulling the alarm or setting off the fire extinguishers this time. It was a full on fire. Someone thought it would be a good idea to start a fire in the garbage chute room on the 18th floor. 

(Way to go, Rocket Scientist!!!)

I definitely have my suspicions on this; mainly because I do NOT believe in coincidences. I will not name names ecause I am not in the mood to fight a "defamation of character" law suit. So here is my theory...

A certain person is responsible for the garbage removal on the premises; that person no longer works here... (They conveniently "left the stage" only YESTERDAY!!!) and today the very place they worked was set on fire today??? Seems really sus to me...

Let's just see what kind of trouble these slumlords are in on Monday, especially since they don't know their head from a hole in the wall. They try to sneak and evade all kinds of laws and bylaws, and I honestly think the city is fed up with their bullshit, as much as the tenants are. That's all I got for this one... Hope you're all doing well.

Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... I was adopted at 5months of age, (well apprehended at 5 months, adopted at 5 years). There is something that adoptees yearn for all their lives... WHY?  I know for me there were many questions and on my 19th birthday it appeared I was going to get those answers when I met the woman who birthed me. Unfortunately, I was sorely mistaken!!! Tis the Season.... Why I Am Proud of Local Tattoo Shop!!!

  Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
