Good Afternoon Lovies. How was your day? Mine? It has been rather quiet, and a bit reflective. I am trying to stay on the positive side, focusing on the things I have, not the things I want... although, what I really "want", I already have!!!

I am not a millionaire by any means, if people were to look through my finances, they would see that I live below the poverty line here in Canada... but ywt, I lack nothing. 

I have a roof over my head, my bills are paid, I have food in my belly. I have people that love me, as much as I love them... and then, I have my person. Someone who irrevocably loves me, and I, him. I have lived with the philosophy that I'd rather live in a shoebox and be real, have real; than conform to the ways of society... and that is exactly how I live. 

I honestly would hate to see where I would be right now, had I conformed to the lifestyle that was expected of me.

I guess what I am trying to say, is this... The world around us is in complete shambles. People are fighting constantly. Countries are at war. Politicians are destroying anything that could possibly be good alliances... it's a total shitshow out there, to put it simple!!! It's time for people to be happy and grateful for what and who they have. The mighty have been known to fall.  

I may not have the luxuries everyone wants, or dreams of; but I have something a lot of people can't say they have... peace. I am quite content with the people in my life. I don't have any desire for a bigger place (although I do like to live off the grid)... mostly because I know there are millions of people who are displaced by war, poverty, illness or other unfortunate events. 

Sadly, many people tend to look down on the downtrodden, but forget that where they sit, could very well be them at any moment. Instead of looking down on them, go join them.... bring a coffee, or sandwiches. Stop judging them, and maybe sit down and listen... A lot of them simply just want to be heard. Have a good day, and please remember how truly blessed you all are.

Good evening lovies. I have been struggling with something that is very close to my heart. I truly do not know where to proceed next. I'm going to try and make a very long story as simple as I can... It's a Hide Under the Covers Kinda Day

Page 14 of 365. Good Afternoon Lovies. I really, really hope your day is going better than mine!!! Sorry, woke up at the asscrack of dawn, as I had a doctor's appointment this morning.  Thankfully it was with my family doctor; appointments with him are fairly painless.  Today, however; things kinda went sideways.  I am usually in and out within 10 mins for these appts, but today? I was there for over 45 minutes. Of course, it didn't help that I was puking maroon blood in the office. I know, I don't share a lot of my medical nor really personal stuff on here, but just so you're aware, this has been happening daily since end of May/beginning of June last year. I am what they call an "anemic blood clotter" which I didn't think was possible, but apparently it runs on the paternal side of my family. Anyways, that was the main focus of my visit after that.   Page 307 of 366. Good Afternoon Lovies. I am not sure how long this blurb is going to be; as it seems to be a topic I have been beating to death this past year. I know it is the time of the year where we switch from Halloween/Samhain into Thanksgiving (in the US) to Yule/Christmas season.  I hate pointing out this fact, but people seem to feel like Christmas time is the only time of the year that they should be charitable...  Is it out of guilt that you are donating, or is it because you genuinely feel you should be helping people??? I AM sort of calling you out because this is NOT the only time of the year that the homeless, or the downtrodden need help. I cannot stand that this is around the only time you will see non-stop commercials/ads or billboards that are asking for help with various charities; also the time we see commercials about driving under the influence.
