What is Your Belief???
Good Afternoon Lovies. I would advise you to grab a drink, kick back, and sit tight... this one is gonna be a bit of a wild ride... and a lot of people may be offended by what I am going to write about; but who would I be, if I just kept my mouth shut and complied with everyone else???
Before I get into the nitty gritty of my views, let me reassure you that I am NOT condoning any sort of violence; so take heed of that as we proceed through this blurb....
There has been a lot, and I mean A LOT of hatred, vandalism, and killing of Christians lately (some of them being children), which has been devastating. I DO mourn the loss of lives... anybody's life... so maybe the next part of what I am going to say, will be very contradictory, but it IS a proven part of history!!!
I have family who are Catholic, Christians, Orthodox, Protestants, Reformed, etc. I also have family who are Pagan, Atheist, Satanist, Luciferian, Wicca, etc. So needless to say, I have a bit of knowledge when it comes to religion and its history... particularly the darker side...
I am sure at this point, you kind of know where I am going with this...
Christians are being attacked now; but that is just the newest in the spiritual warfare since the beginning of time.... The Saxon Wars. The Crusades (European Christians and Muslims), Toltec Wars. French Wars of Religion between the Catholics and the Huguenots (Protestants). The Thirty Years' War (Happened in Rome between Catholics and Protestants, which devastated the population of Germans and their lands). The Taipang War (civil war in China, which resulted in the deaths of tens of millions). The never-ending warfare in the MIddle East. The English Reformation and the Irish Confederate Wars.(Those are just a few of the MANY spiritual wars that happened through the ages). I guess what I am saying is this..
I know from my own point of view, the crisis that is happening now. The attacks on Christianity, is horrendous but it was not completely unexpected. I won't say that I don't sympathize with Christians, because they are people, just like everyone else. I am also not going to ignore the fact that many of my ancestors were murdered and maimed for their beliefs and practices too.
They were hung, burned, beheaded, drowned, ostracized, raped, (I think you get the picture). This may sound harsh, but this is truly how I feel. Back in history, no one cared about my ancestors, their ages, nor whether they were guilty of any crime; they were murdered for simply having a mole on their skin, or hair that was different. Anything that made them seem odd to anyone... they were tortured and killed.Do I believe killing someone based on their religion is right? Absolutely not. I definitely do NOT feel children should be persecuted for beliefs that are not even their own to choose.
At the end of the day, I personally believe that everyone has the right to their own beliefs as long as they do not harm animals and children.... it is really that simple in my mind. Women are not meant to be slaves... (but that is a whole other topic, for another day).
I hope this made sense to some of you... Have a blessed day!!!
