Good Afternoon Lovies. I am writing this as one tired and pissed off Canadian. I have watched my country fall to pieces, crumbling because of the spineless bitches we have sitting on Parliament Hill ~ where the shitheads are that are supposed to be protecting the very people they are hurting!!!

For years, possibly decades, our once beautiful country has turned into a universal joke. Criminals who are commiting the worst of the worst are being legally allowed to roam free, since there is this lovely thing called "catch and release"... an utter embarrassment!!! 

People who kill, maim, or even pedos and predators don't see much of jail... but Heaven forbid if you hurt someone's feelings, by not agreeing with their religious views, especially if you are a white person (these days). 

Laws are being passed that if you offend someone who is, let's say Islamic... you are scrutinized and given very stiff penalties in the eyes of the law; but if you do the exact same thing, offending say a white Christian, or Catholic... there is nothing wrong with it. The double standards are insane. (Please note, this is coming from a woman who has no religion, no political stance. Just someone who knows right from wrong)!!!

Some may say this is karma for what Chrisitanity and white people have done to others throughout history... and even I cannot deny the heinous stuff that has happened to many, many people, including my own ancestors at the hands of religious zealots; it still doesn't make it right to persecute them now... just as it wasn't right back then!!!

I really need to get what is making me sooo angry right now, and what the point of this blurb is...

There was a flag raised at city hall in the capital city of the province I live in, (Toronto, Ontario CANADA). They raised the Palestinian flag, up and displayed for all to see. This action I found absolutely DISGUSTING and DISTURBING!!! 

I am going to tell you why...

I am Canadian. I was born in Canada... It may irk some people for me to say this... it doesn't make me "indigenous", but this IS my native land. My parents were born here. I am second generation Canadian. I take pride in Canada. We have a flag for this country... ONE FLAG!!! There should NOT be another flag flying in this country. 

We have a massively diverse population. We ARE multi-cultural. I have no problem with people celebrating their heritage, and their individual customs; what I do NOT agree with, is forcing the rest of society to submit and adhere to them. You move to this country... you become Canadian. You take on the Canadian culture...

As I have mentioned I am not a Christian. I do NOT practice any of their religious rites or rituals, but I fully acknowledge that the culture, laws and basis of life are based on Christianity. I fully accept and appreciate that. It doesn't mean I need to go to church, or get on my knees and pray. No one is forcing it on me; unlike the newcomers of now... 

They should not have the right to block traffic to pray on busy streets, when they have a mosque to do so. They should not be allowed to burn the Canadian flag, and chant death to Canada; while it is MY country that is helping them escape the violence and despair of their homeland. They do not have the right to take over, which is exactly what is happening beause the pansies running our government have no nads to stand up.

Men should not be allowed to marry children. Women should not be beaten into submission, nor forced to be treated worse than animals. This is NOT the Canadian way. Canada has seem to forgotten that by flying the flag of one country who is at war with another, is isolating citizens here. They call regular people racists and bigots; but it is the government who is deciding which country's people are more important.... and Canadian citizens seem to be at the bottom of the totem pole!!!

IDGAF where you come from. You show respect, you get respect. I don't care the colour of your skin. I don't care what religion you are. At the end of the day, we all bleed the same... and until our government gets off their asses and stands with the people, I fear nothing will be right again.
